MEDICINE ADMINISTRATION CONTROL AND SUPPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the independent medicine administration control of a patient so as to prevent the patient from administering a prescribed medicine twice or from forgetting to administer the prescribed medicine.

SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 4 detects a medicine package opening signal to calculate the elapse time (t) from the update medicine administration confirming time TP to compare the same with a medicine administration prohibiting time tO. When it is judged that the elapse time (t) does not exceed medicine administration prohibiting time tO, the electronic control unit 4 issues a twice-administration alarm and displays the update medicine administration confirming time TP stored in the memory of the electronic control unit 4 on a liquid crystal display device 19 to issue a warning for prohibiting the administration of the prescribed medicine to the patient. The electronic control unit 4 generates an alarm forgetting to administer the prescribed medicine when the update medicine administration confirming time is not the time of a medicine administration time zone when the present time arrives at the completion time of the medicine administration time zone to urge patient to administer the prescribed medicine.
