PURPOSE: An air conditioner using a gas engine heat pump is provided to minimize heat loss and to maximize heat efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a plurality of indoor units(A) supplying a room with hot air or chilled air; an outdoor unit(B) compressing and feeding refrigerant to supply the indoor units with chilled air or hot air; and a cooling outdoor unit(C) cooling heat generated in the indoor units and the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit includes a gas engine(11) using gas as fuel; a compressor(21) driven by the gas engine; an oil filter(22) placed on one side of the compressor, and filtering oil contained in refrigerant; a four-way valve(23) placed on an upstream of the oil filter; a first refrigerant circulation tube(25) connected with the four-way valve and the indoor units; a second refrigerant circulation tube(26) is connected with the four-way valve and a first reservoir tank(27); a third refrigerant circulation tube(24) connected with the four-way valve and a refrigerant heat sink(51) of the cooling outdoor unit; a fourth refrigerant circulation tube(28) connected with the indoor units and a refrigerant tank(29), and connected with the refrigerant heat sink of the cooling outdoor unit through an engine coolant heat exchanger(31); the first reservoir tank connected with the compressor through a fifth refrigerant circulation tube(32); and a second reservoir tank(33) connected with the first reservoir tank, and connected with the refrigerant heat sink of the cooling outdoor unit through a sixth refrigerant circulation tube. |
