<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for enabling magnetism to intensively act on liquid fuel, gas required for combustion, or gas generated by combustion, and an exhaust emission control device body used for it. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device 1 comprises the exhaust emission control device body 2, and a fuel pipe 3 wound around the exhaust emission control device body 2. The exhaust emission device body 2 has a structure of four layers, in total, such that, when seen from a flat plane, permanent magnets 20 arranged in 2 vertical rows and 5 horizontal rows are nipped from both sides by general rectangular magnetic plates 21, and the nipped structure is used as a basic unit of a layer. An action part 23 making the magnetism act on the fuel pipe 3 is constructed in a space part nipped by both side parts in a width direction of the magnetic plates 21. The fuel pipe 3 is wound three times around the permanent magnets 20 installed to each stage, from a lower stage to an upper stage of the exhaust emission control device 2 one by one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
