<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling speed control device of an engine which secures a sufficiently smooth cold starting characteristic, even if the engine is of large size having a large exhaust quantity. <P>SOLUTION: The idling speed control device of the engine is composed of a first and a second passage provided in a throttle body and arranged so that the air flows bypassing a throttle valve installed in the main passage, in idling speed controlling actuator installed in the first passage for adjusting its degree of opening, and a temperature valve means installed in the second passage for adjusting its opening in accordance with the temperature of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
