PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which can be miniaturized with a simple constitution, and can realize the stabilization and the improvement of equipment performance. SOLUTION: The lens barrel capable of moving to a housing position and a projecting position is equipped with: a 1st frame 50 having a female helicoid 50A; a 2nd frame 51 capable of advancing and retreating in an optical axis direction with respect to the 1st frame 50 and having a male helicoid 51A screwed with the helicoid 50A; and a position regulating groove provided on the 1st frame 50 and regulating the position of the 2nd frame 51 in the optical axis direction at the projecting position. By fitting a screw thread part forming a part of the helicoid 51A into the position regulating groove, the position of the 2nd frame 51 in the optical axis direction with respect to the 1st frame 50 is regulated.
