<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system and method whereby a transfer efficiency of context information and quality of communication are improved. <P>SOLUTION: At least a cover relaying apparatus among relaying apparatuses in the mobile communication system is provided with: a context compatible means for using prescribed context information to warrant consecution of communication; a mobile path prediction means for predicting a moving path of a mobile communication terminal during communication by its wireless communication means by using a prescribed prediction process; an object selection means for selecting an object cover relaying apparatus among the cover relay apparatuses having a cover area on the moving path predicted by the mobile path prediction means; and a context information transfer means for transferring context information to the object cover relaying apparatus selected by the object selection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
