SAFE ORGANIC PEROXIDE COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid organic peroxide by which the solid organic peroxide can safely be synthesized and a safe solid organic peroxide composition can be obtained. SOLUTION: The method for producing the safe organic peroxide composition is carried out as follows. The organic peroxide which is a solid at normal temperature is synthesized in the presence of a water-insoluble viscous liquid at normal temperature in water solvent and the synthesized organic peroxide which is the solid at normal temperature is separated from the water solvent. The organic peroxide composition comprising the organic peroxide, the viscous liquid at normal temperature and water is provided. Thereby, the resultant safe organic peroxide composition provides <9 mm pressure vessel test (PVT) value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
