<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business term management system and method enabling a constituting member of a project to freely collate a term in a business field, and recognize that the term has a semantic content suitable for the business field. <P>SOLUTION: This business term management system retrieves and display the semantic content of a specified business field for a temrian included in electronic data of an application software. This system comprises a registration and updating request means for transmitting, when the semantic content corresponding to a term is not registered, a registration request of semantic content for the term concerned, and further determining whether a semantic content is matched to the business field or not and transmitting, when it is not matched, a correction request of the semantic content concerned; and a registration and updating executing means for registering the semantic content of the business field inputted by an expert in association with the term in response to the registration request, and correcting it to a semantic content suitable to the business field in response to the correction request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
