PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light source device constituted of a semiconductor laser, a laser holder and a circuit board, and restraining the fluctuation of the emitting direction of a beam radiated from the light source device caused by the thermal deformation of the laser holder influenced by the restriction of the laser holder and the circuit board. SOLUTION: A low strength part is provided between two or more base plate joining parts on the laser holder. The laser base plate and the laser holder are fixed with one joining screw and a snap fit part provided on the laser holder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
