PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely hold and fix a scooter type vehicle regardless of presence or absence of a rear carrier in carrying the scooter type vehicle. SOLUTION: When the scooter type vehicle is carried by mounting it on a loading platform 51 of a truck 50, a rope 31 is wound around a front wheel 102 and tied down to a hook 52 in the side part of the loading platform 51 with a center stand 109 of the scooter type vehicle erected on the loading platform 51. The U-shaped bottom part 1a of a first band body 1 of this holding means is brought into contact with the front face of a body cover under a seat 5, and a second band body 2 is brought into contact with the seat 5. A rope 32 is inserted into annular parts 4 at both ends of the band body 1 with both the ends of the band body 1 pulled rearward obliquely downward, and the rope 32 is fastened up to the hook 52 of the loading platform 51.
