PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home network in which a user can build a security system in house easily by allowing the user to install various kinds of sensors. SOLUTION: A display/control terminal 21 displays sensor setting modes for installing wireless sensors 25a-25n, and the modes are selectable. When one of the modes are selected, an in-home security master set 27 makes communication with either of the sensors 25a-25n by using a prescribed identification code. When the sensor received the prescribed identification code and responds that the code coincides with an identification code the sensor has, the master set 27 informs the terminal 21 of the coincident identification code. The terminal 21 makes a display section display the informed identification code, and the user inputs the arrangement place of the sensor corresponding to the displayed identification code.
