PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually confirm the positions of members of a group at the time of moving as a group by the respective portable terminal devices. SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 100a calculates a present position from radio waves of GPS satellites 190s, and transmits to the other portable terminal device 100b. The portable terminal device 100b displays the position information received from the portable terminal device 100a with overlapping a map. Therefore, the respective portable terminal devices are provided with a map data storage means for storing map data, a map display means for displaying the map data to be controlled by the map data storage means, a position detecting means for detecting the present position, a transmission means for transmitting the position detected by the position detecting means to some other portable terminal devices, a reception means for receiving the position transmitted by the other portable terminal devices, and a position display means for displaying a mark at a received position by the reception means on the map data displayed by the map display means.
