MONOFILAMENT STITCH YARN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of monofilament stitch yarn is characterized by conjugate-spinning polymers having different Young's modulus, covering polymer having low Young's modulus with polymer having high Young's modulus and increasing knot stability and flexibility. The monofilament stitch yarn is useful for medical supplies besides the stitch yarn. CONSTITUTION: The monofilament stitch yarn is obtained by the steps of: melting the polymers having different Young's modulus; using the polymer having high Young's modulus as a sea or a sheath ingredients; using the polymer having low Young's modulus as an island or a core ingredients; conjugate-spinning the polymers to get yarn; solidifying and crystallizing the yarn; and then drawing the yarn.
