PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warn a receiver of the restraint of careless holding/long telephone call, and at the same time to reduce the possibility of charge to a sender side. SOLUTION: A telephone set has a sender information reception section 1 for receiving sender information, a sender number decision section 2 for extracting a sender number from the sender information, a distance information storage section 6 for storing distance group classification information to one portion or the entire portion of a telephone number, a distance decision section 3 for determining a distance group from which the sender carries out calling based on one portion or the entire portion of the sender number and the stored distance group classification information, a report content storage section 7 for storing report contents for each distance group, a report control section 4 for determining the report contents based on the distance group to which the sender belongs and the stored contents, and a display section 5 for visually displaying the report contents or a voice output section 11 for outputting the report contents by audible voice output.
