PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backing structure for reducing adhesion of dust to an outside surface of a packing in the light of the circumstances where dust adheres to the outside surface of a packing mounted on the back side of the door of the refrigerator, especially dust is easy to adhere to the outside surface of an upper side corresponding to the upper side of the door, and the packing is stained by the dust to be unsanitary and cause deterioration of the packing. SOLUTION: In the refrigerator, a sealing device of the refrigerator includes a door for opening and closing an opening of the front of the refrigerator body, and the packing abutting on the peripheral edge part of the opening of the front of the refrigerator body is disposed along the respective upper and lower and left and right sides. The packing is provided with a fin side covering at least the outside surface of the upper side corresponding to the upper side of the door and extending from the base of the packing toward the peripheral edge part of the opening of the front.
