PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the contact of tooth end surfaces each other in a wide scope, by providing the tooth form of tooth end of the engaging tooth of a flexible spline, as a tooth form curve to maintain the contacting condition with the engaging tooth of a circular spline having a tooth form curve in which several number of engaging teeth are made in a specific curve of arc form line segment, in the tooth form of tooth ends of the engaging teeth. SOLUTION: At least the tooth form curve 62A of the tooth end, of the engaging tooth of the circular spline 28 of an emgagement type transmission device, is defined as a specific curve of arc form line segment. And the tooth type curve 60A of the tooth end of the engaging tooth of a flex spline 26 is defined that the several engaging teeth of flex spline 16 can maintain the contact condition with the engaging tooth of the circular spline 28. Consequently, by the rotation of a wave generator, numerous teeth from the position the engaging depth is the deepest, to the position where the engaging depth is made smaller, of the engaging teeth of the flex spline 26, are made in the condition where the tooth form area of their tooth ends is contacted to the tooth form area of the tooth ends of the engaging tooth surface 62 of the circular spline 28. |
