PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a contact pin and to enhance the reliability of actuation during insertion by providing a spring part with a pawl part, providing a core part with a cut part in which the pawl part fits, and fitting the pawl part into the cut part. SOLUTION: A spring part 13 has a C-shaped cross section, is fitted over a core part 12, and has contact pats 14 at two positions. Because of the C- shaped cross section of the spring part 13, all of burrs produced by press working are formed inside, i.e., on the end face of a through hole. A pawl part 15 is formed at the spring part 13, and a cut part 16 in which the pawl part 15 fits is provided in the core part 12 of a contact pin. By fitting the pawl part 15 into the cut part 16, the rotation of the spring part 13 is stopped by the cut part 16, and the spring part 13 is secured to the core part 12. Thus the burrs are prevented from being caught by the end face of the through hole during insertion, and the rate at which the spring is turned up is reduced. Also, a C-shaped cross section is more excellent than an S-shaped cross section in terms of rigidity, and the permanent set of the spring can be prevented. |
