PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for reliably exchange information with the outside by avoiding the effect of noise caused in the inside. SOLUTION: A facsimile machine 121 is provided with: an original read section 12 for reading the image information of an original D; a display unit 14 for displaying the operating state of the apparatus; a main control board 71 placed between the original read section 12 and the display unit 14 to control the display unit 14; a wireless unit 77 for transmitting/receiving information to/from an external device; and a shield sheet 120 for shielding the main control board 71. Since the shield sheet 120 shields radiation noise emitted from the main control board 71, a wireless unit receives no effect of noise and sufficiently exhibits its function so as to reliably transmit/receive the information to/from the external device.
