PURPOSE: A lumbar support apparatus for a vehicle is provided to adjust finely and prevent noise by moving a lumbar support plate back and forth with an operating lever, and to keep the balance by supporting at both sides. CONSTITUTION: A lumbar support apparatus is composed of a lumbar support plate(11) supporting the waist of a driver or a passenger; staple-shaped wires(12a,12b) rotatably fixed in the rear part of the lumbar support plate, and inclined for both rear parts; guide blocks(14a,14b) having symmetrical holes(15a) inserting wires, and moving at both sides of a rotating shaft(18); screws(16a,16b) engaged with screw holes of guide blocks; guide brackets(19a,19b) fixed in a seat back frame(20) to reciprocate guide blocks along screws by restricting rotation of the guide blocks; and the rotating shaft penetrating a side bracket(30), having screws, and turning by an operating lever(17).
