PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer control device having good data transfer efficiency. SOLUTION: An audio device 100 is provided with an IDE controller 130. The IDE controller 130 includes an external I/F individually connecting two IDE buses 140, 150 independently and inputting and outputting data to and from an external device. The IDE bus 140 connects the IDE controller 130 and an optical disk recording and reproducing device 42 for reading and writing audio data from and to an optical disk. On the other hand, IDE bus 150 connects the IDE controller 130 and a hard disk driver 152 for reading and writing audio data. On receiving a command for transferring the audio data from a CPU 112, the IDE controller 130 controls the data transfer performed through the IDE buses 140, 150 and the external I/F.
