<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-saving liquid crystal display device by heightening heating efficiency to a liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 21, a liquid crystal 4 is made to lie between a scanning side glass substrate 2 and a signal side glass substrate 3 and is sealed therein with a sealing member 5. A display region 6 formed of transparent electrodes 7, 8 disposed on the glass substrates 2, 3 forms a display screen. The liquid crystal display panel P1 with this kind of construction forms a reflective liquid crystal display device provided with a reflection member on the outside surface or the inside surface of the substrate 2. A circuit substrate 13 is fixed on the outside surface of the glass substrate 2 with a double sided adhesive tape and a heater layer 22 is disposed on a surface of the circuit substrate 13 in contact with the liquid crystal display panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
