PURPOSE: A system for managing a company business and a method for controlling the same are provided to enhance a business processing efficiency by unifying business processing states between a user and a computing system. CONSTITUTION: In a company business managing system which communicates with a plurality of client computers(20) connected through a network(10) and controls a business flow, a work manager is mounted in the client computers(20), respectively, updates, and displays a business progress state list according to users with respect to at least one log-in user corresponded to a work flow progress through a work browser. A work flow managing server(30) processes a work progress signal received from the work manager in accordance with a predetermined business process definition. When business report details of a person in charge are changed, the work flow managing server(30) generates a message for making a work manager of a corresponding user access to the changed details and update a work progress state list for a receipt of the corresponding work manager.
