PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced plastics concrete composite structural member having a high-strength pipe concrete composite structure with good workability at a low cost. SOLUTION: A pipe concrete composite structure comprises an FRP pipe 3 instead of a steel pipe. The combination of the FRP pipe 3 with a concrete 4 has a remarkably increased confined effect and an excellent proof stress in comparison with the steel pipe. For this reason, even if the FRP pipe is adopted instead of the steel pipe, no hindrance occurs in terms of strength, and a manufacturing cost can be reduced in terms of manufacturing facility, conveyance facility or the like with good workability.
