<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a reflecting electrode which includes good reflecting characteristics in a simple step and a method for manufacturing the same and to provided a transfer material for forming the reflecting plate and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer material for forming the reflecting plate comprises at least one deformed layer and at least one resin layer, sequentially provided on a temporary support so that a rugged part is provided by embossing on the surface of the deformed layer at the resin layer side. The method for manufacturing the same is provided. The liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate having a first electrode having a light reflecting function and partly formed on the surface opposed to a second substrate, the second substrate disposed oppositely to the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer sealed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device having the resin layer which includes the rugged part on the surface comprises the steps of transferring the transfer material for forming the reflecting plate between the first substrate and the second substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
