<p>The invention relates to a device for adjusting the opening of an air inlet which is formed in the front bumper (10) of a vehicle in order cool the radiator (16) of said vehicle. The inventive device comprises two convergent seals (18, 20), consisting of two vertical walls (22, 24) forming the convergent elements and two vertical walls forming the seal (26, 28), said walls being articulated to one another respectively along the length of two adjacent vertical edges thereof by means of free hinges (32, 30). Moreover, the walls forming the convergent elements are also articulated by means of the other vertical edge thereof to fixed axles (34, 36) which are disposed to the rear of the bumper on either side of the radiator. The walls forming the seal can be moved, while still applied to the internal face of the bumper, between a first position in which they partially seal the air inlet opening and a second retracted position in which they completely uncover the air inlet opening. In this way, the walls forming the convergent elements (22, 24) occupy a more or less inclined position each time, in which they concentrate all of the air flow moving through the air inlet opening towards the radiator (16).</p> |
