PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection cover for a guide bar of a linearly moving guide in which extension of the guide bar in the protection cover is reduced and increase of an extended part is prevented even if travel distance increases. SOLUTION: In this linearly moving guide having a moving body 1 moving linearly and the rectangular guide bar 2 for guiding its moving, a plurality of protection covers 5 like a thin plate are attached so as to cover whole length of each guide face of the guide bar. The protection cover is arranged by detouring an upper face and a side face of the moving body 1 by a guide plate 3 so that it does not prevent moving of the moving body and protects a guide face.
