ROTARY CRYSTALLIZER WITH INTERNAL COOLING

FIELD: chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed crystallizer includes hollow drum whose lower portion is immersed in trough and is provided with knife for removal of crystals. Drum is made in form of two coaxial cylinders and cooling agent is fed to clearance between these cylinders. Rigidity of drum as a whole is ensured by inner cylinder; thickness of wall of this cylinder exceeds that of outer cylinder. Mounted between inner and outer cylinders are stiffeners made in form of one-start or multi-start spiral; these stiffeners additionally form one or several passages for organized flow of cooling agent. EFFECT: increased singleunit power of crystallizer at retained overall dimensions. 2 dwg
