<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual speaker amplifier which can accurately localize a sound image to a place of a rear speaker even when an audio signal of the rear speaker is outputted from a front speaker. <P>SOLUTION: A face of a user (listener) is photographed by a CCD camera 5, and based on this image, a width of a user's face and a size of a user's auricle are detected. By using the width of the face and the size of the auricle as data of a user's head form, a head transfer function which is a transfer function from the rear speaker to user's ears is computed. By performing a filter processing by a DSP of a USB amplifier in order to realize the head transfer function, the sound image localization of the rear speaker can be realized by a front speaker 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
