PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a clothing polyamide fiber simultaneously having a good UV light-screening property and good transparency in good fiber-productivity. SOLUTION: This clothing polyamide fiber is characterized by having a titanium oxide content of≤0.5 wt.%, containing zinc oxide having a UV light- absorbing zone of 200 to 400 nm in an amount of 0.1 to 5 wt.%, and having an amino-terminal group content of 3.0×10<SP>-5</SP>to 8.0×10<SP>-5</SP>mol/g. The clothing polyamide fiber does not substantially contain titanium oxide. And, the clothing polyamide fiber contains the zinc oxide with an average particle diameter of 0.01 to 1.0μm.
