PURPOSE: A clock having message recording and playback function is provided which has various functions by enabling to record and play back various signal sounds like voice and melody and music together with an alarm function. CONSTITUTION: The clock comprises the hour hand and the minute hand rotating around a center axis installed in the center of a circular clock plate, and has a time arrangement part. A micom(110) controls the whole operation of a system. A recording button(120) transfers a corresponding signal to the micom when it is decided to start the recording of a desired message by a user. A microphone(130) receives the message desired by the user according to a control signal of the micom. A memory(140) stores the message inputted through the microphone. A timer(150) determines a time to perform an alarm function by being operated by the user. A present time checking part(160) checks the present time of the clock. A speaker(170) outputs the message according to the control signal of the micom when it is judged in the micom that the present time coincides with a time designated in the timer. And an on/off switch(180) determines on/off of the alarm operation.
