<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dedicated mask for wearing a helmet, capable of being easily attached to the mouth, without being slipped out of the mouth, even when a driver wears a full face helmet over the mask, capable of preventing marks of rubber hung on the ears from being impressed on the cheek, capable of preventing the mouth and the nose from becoming hot and stuffy, capable of always keeping a filter clean, and capable of being compactly stored. <P>SOLUTION: In this dedicated mask for wearing the helmet, a filter 6 which is positioned inside a filter part 7 attached to a tip of a vent pipe 2 is not contacted with the mouth, because air intake and exhaust is carried out in such a state that the vent pipe 2 equipped with a salivary check valve 4 is held by the mouth, so that the salivary is not attached to the filter. Further, many pieces of gauze which are layered on front and rear sides of the filter 6 are not required, because a protective frame 12 prevents the filter from being contacted with surroundings, so that only one filter medium with a high filterability is enough to be used as the filter 6. Thus, the filter part 7 is almost received in a space formed by the lips slightly opened upward and downward, and therefore the mask is simply and surely attached to the mouth, when the helmet is worn. And, the filter 6 is always kept in a clean state, by forming the filter part 7 into such a shape as to be freely removable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
