PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banjo type axle housing greatly improving productivity by abolishing a process of resistance welding. SOLUTION: An oil defector engaging part 20 is formed by plastically deforming an inner wall 19 to constitute the banjo type axle housing 1. Consequently, a part arranged on the inner wall 19 to hold an oil deflector 18 becomes unnecessary, and the process of resistance welding is abolished to greatly improve productivity.
