<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte type fuel cell that improves electrode activity between a fuel electrode and an electrolyte and has excellent output performance. <P>SOLUTION: For the solid electrolyte type fuel cell comprising an air electrode, an electrolyte and a fuel electrode, and containing an electrode reaction layer interposed between the electrolyte and the fuel electrode, the electrode reaction layer contains a catalyst facilitating a reaction forming H<SB>2</SB>O and/or CO<SB>2</SB>and an electron from at least hydrogen gas (H<SB>2</SB>) and/or carbon monoxide gas (CO) contained in a fuel gas component and an oxygen ion (O<SP>2-</SP>) and has a communicating air hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
