MACHINE FOR MOWING, IRRESPECTIVE OF ROWS ARRANGEMENT, THE MAIZE AND OTHER CULTIVABLE STEM PLANTS

The machine includes several capture and reaping pulleys which are arranged dissymmetrically on both sides of the vertical longitudinal centre plane of the machine. A chopper (3) with insertion drum for the cut harvest goods is provided. A driving unit is connected to the central gear of the chopper and shaft strings (27,28) are provided which drive the capture and reaping pulleys. The shaft strings are bridged over by a connection shaft (30) which is connected to the central gear of the chopper. The connection shaft includes an activatable unit which delays the initialisation of the rotary movement of the shaft strings when starting the machine.
