IMAGE HEATING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device by which a specified heating value is obtained by a small current. SOLUTION: An image heating device is constituted by using a heat generating roller 1 having magnetism and conductivity and an exciting coil 5 arranged opposed to the outer peripheral surface of the heat generating roller 1 and to make the heat generating roller 1 generate heat by electromagnetic induction. The exciting coil 5 is formed by stretching a wire bundle obtained by bundling 60 wire rods whose surface is insulated, whose outer diameter is 0.2 mm and which is made of copper and also circulating it in the peripheral direction of the heat generating roller 1. Also the exciting coil 5 is arranged so that the wire bundle is mutually brought into close contact along the peripheral direction of the heat generating roller 1 so as to cover the upper half of the heat generating roller 1.
