<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder capable of drive-controlling a hopping roller and a register roller by one motor. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeder comprises: a first gear train disposed between the paper feeding cassette motor 9 and a hopping roller shaft 7a; a second gear train between a register roller shaft 16a and the hopping roller shaft 7a; and a planetary gear clutch 32 which connects the hopping roller shaft 7a to the first gear train when transmitting the driving force of the feeding cassette motor 9 to the hopping roller shaft 7a and connects the first and the second gear trains to each other when the driving force of the cassette motor 9 is transmitted to the register roller shaft 16a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
