PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish the bore diameter of a hole to be machined with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This burnishing device is provided with a support member 14 for supporting a bearing sleeve 11, a presser 18 having a linear driving mechanism for pressing and constant-velocity moving a machining ball 16 in the axial direction of the bearing sleeve 11, an oil feeder 21 for feeding oil to the inner peripheral surface of the bearing sleeve before the machining ball 16 is pressed and passed, and a vibration exciter 19 for vibrating in the moving direction of the machining ball 16. Oil is supplied to the inner peripheral surface of a bearing hole, and while the machining ball is pressed, vibration is applied to the machining ball, whereby ball burnishing can be performed with low pressing force, and stick slip can be prevented to smooth residual projection on the inner peripheral surface of the bearing hole.
