PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic developing machine for silver halide photographic sensitive material which does not cause developing irregularity at the background part of a digital image by improving the contact constitution of the cut paper P1 of color paper to a surface type guide and a pair of nip rollers in each processing tank such as a color developing processing tank so as to restrain the occurrence of the developing irregularity on the cut paper P1 at a transition part. SOLUTION: In this automatic developing machine for developing the cut paper of the silver halide color paper on which the digital image is printed especially, a pair of feeding nip rollers is provided on the entrance side and the exit side of a U-turn feeding part where the photosensitive emulsion surface of the cut paper turns outside respectively, and a top roller is provided at the top of the U-turn, then the surface type guide is provided on a more outside than a standard feeding path between a pair of feeding nip rollers on the entrance side and the exit side and the top roller, and the cut paper is fed in contact with only the top roller other than the leading edge and the trailing edge of the cut paper.
