PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire, specifically a pneumatic tire for a light duty truck, with a wear indicator for a user to precisely recognize the degree of the wear as well as to recognize the limit of the wear of a side protector. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has an annular-formed tread part, a pair of side wall parts disposed from both ends to the inner side in the radial direction of the tire in the tread part, and a bead part connected to the inner side of the side wall parts in the radial direction of the tire. The pneumatic tire also has the side protector 1 extending in the circumferential direction on the outer surface of each side wall part and the wear indicator 2 in the side protector 1 to change the surface shape of a groove according to the degree of the wear.
