ASYMMETRIC TREAD PATTERN TIRE

PURPOSE: An asymmetric tread pattern tire is provided to reduce effect caused partial wear of the tire without changing the inner structure of the tire, improve the wet performance, and improve passenger's ride comfort. CONSTITUTION: In an asymmetric tread pattern tire, NG percent of the outer tread pattern is larger than the NG percent of the inner tread pattern on the basis the circumferential tread pattern center line of the tire. The NG percent is a ratio of the real tread to the whole tread of the tread pattern of unit pitch. The rake angle of the inner lateral groove of the vehicle to the crosswise direction of the tire is larger than the rake angle of the outer lateral groove of the vehicle. The ratio of the NG percent of the inner tread pattern of the vehicle and the outer tread pattern ranges 1:1.03¯1:1.13.
