PURPOSE: Provided is a open/close device for a kimchi storage container which has an opening structure by moving a door horizontally and lowering down vertically. The device makes the door open easily and increases the usage of space provided on the top of the door. CONSTITUTION: A kimchi storage container comprises: a pair of revolving groove(24) situated at both sides of a main body(10); a sliding rod which is inserted into the revolving groove(24), and has protruding part at the top and revolving axis part at the bottom; and guide groove(23) at one side of the back into which the protruding part is inserted and doors(21) to be opened/closed in left and right direction.
