PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezer and refrigerator equipped with an automatic ice making device capable of accurately supplying the water to a plurality of ice making trays individually in accordance with the conditions of the respective trays. SOLUTION: The freezer and refrigerator includes a first refrigerating chamber 2 furnished with a water tank 16 and a water supply pump 18, an ice making chamber 5 furnished with a plurality of ice making trays 11 and 12 and a drive device 13, and a second refrigerating chamber 7 positioned between the first refrigerating chamber 2 and ice making chamber 5, and further a selector valve 19 installed in the second refrigerating chamber 7, wherein the water in the tank 16 fed by the pump 18 is led only to that water supply path (the first water supply pipe 21a or second water supply pipe 21b) corresponding to the specified tray whereto the water supply should take place by the selector valve 19, and because the specified quantity of water is supplied to the specified tray, an accurate water supply can be made to the individual trays 11 and 12 in accordance with the conditions of the respective trays while one water tank 16 and one water supply pump 18 are used.
