PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a main control circuit board and a sub control circuit board separately, capable of preventing erroneous operation and damage of a CPU mounted on each circuit board. SOLUTION: The game machine capable of executing a prescribed game comprises the main control circuit board on which a main CPU is mounted, the sub control circuit board on which a sub CPU is mounted, and a driving voltage generating means for generating the driving voltage (+5 V) from the supply voltage (+8 V) supplied to the main control circuit board. The driving voltage generated by the driving voltage generating means is used as the voltage for driving the main CPU, and is supplied also to the sub control circuit board. The driving voltage supplied from the main control circuit board is used as the voltage for driving the sub CPU. The main control circuit board backs up the game condition in the service interruption and determines whether the backed-up game condition should be initialized or not when the power is on. If it is determined that the game condition should be initialized, the main control circuit board transmits a command to initialize the game condition to the sub control circuit board.
