One nut section is intended for abutment onto a component, while a slotted clamping section is formed on the outer part, away from the abutment section. In the peripheral direction the sleeve- shaped clamping section comprises clamping tongues between the slots. Both the clamping section and outer polygonal part are formed by cold shaping or hot extrusion. Inside the outer part is formed an inner thread of constant dia., while over a part of the clamping section the inner thread has a progressively reducing dia.. The wall thickness of the clamping tongues is reduced with increased spacing from the outer part. |
