<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CDM demodulated signal device in which communication performance (such as a quality, a transmission rate and frequency utilization efficiency) is improved by effectively removing an interference signal corresponding to an interference status. <P>SOLUTION: In the CDM signal demodulator in which a signal multiplexed by a code division is received, the replica of the interference signal contained in the received signal is prepared, a signal weakening the strength of the replica is subtracted from the received signal and a desired signal is demodulated from the remaining signal after subtraction, the demodulator has a means for detecting the number of code-multiplexed signals and a means for detecting the total sum of the signal strengths and the other noise (background noise) strength or ratio of two strengths, the coefficients of a quadratic equation is determined by inputting the results of two means and in two resulting solutions of the quadratic equation, a numerical value of 0 to 1 or not-smaller numerical value is used as a coefficient for weakening the replica strength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
