MANUFACTURE OF FIRE WALL WITH SOUNDPROOFNESS AND HEAT INSULATION USING EXPANSIVE MINERALS

PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of fire wall with lightweight, low costs, soundproofness and heat insulation by using expansive minerals such as sepiolite, vermiculite and perlite. CONSTITUTION: The fire wall is manufactured by the following steps of: powdering 15-25wt.% of sepiolite, 45-60wt.% of vermiculite and 25-35wt.% of perlite to a size of 0.2-0.3mm; heating to 800-1200deg.C rapidly for expansion of minerals; mixing 80-90wt.% of expanded minerals with 10-20wt.% of inorganic binder made of sodium silicate and cellulose in a weight ratio of 1:5; heating at 150-200deg.C and pressing.
