PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector having a small, light-weighted and integrated connector position assuring (CPA) device. SOLUTION: The CPA device is composed of a header assembling body 40, a plug assembling body 10, a CPA tub 30, a fitting latch 25 used for connecting the plug assembling body 10 with the header assembling body 40, a concave part 38 being a mounting means for the CPA tub 30 at least partially mounted on the plug assembling body 10. The CPA tub 30 slides up to a prescribed lock so that the fitting latch 25 is locked. By the feedback of audible and touched feeling, that the CPA tub 30 has arrived at a prescribed lock position is guaranteed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
