PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for identifying an opening or a shutting state of a door using a wireless network are provided to control remotely the door by connecting a door switching system, an RF card, a telephone, and a cellular phone to each other. CONSTITUTION: An RF card(10) includes particular signals. A signal sensing portion(20) senses the RF card. A micro computer(30) controls operations for opening or shutting a door(50) according to a sensed signal of the signal sensing portion or a telephone signal. A door driving portion(40) opens or shuts the door according to a control signal of the micro computer. A signal transmission portion(60) transmits a corresponding signal to a corresponding telephone(70) in response to a predetermined RF signal. The telephone receives the corresponding signal from the signal transmission portion and receives or transmits the signal from or to a corresponding cellular phone(100). A signal reception portion(110) receives the signal from the telephone and transmits the received signal to the micro computer.
