PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical equipment maintaining optical performance, realizing the miniaturization of a lens barrel at the non-photographing time and constituted so that an accessory can be directly attached. SOLUTION: The optical equipment is equipped with a 1st lens group L1 constituting an optical system, a driving motor 17 for driving the 1st lens group L1 by using a main body 6 where a cam groove 6a is formed, a 2nd lens group L2 provided on the image surface side of the optical axis of the 1st lens group L1, a driving motor 11 for driving the 2nd lens group L2, and a control means for controlling the driving motors 11 and 17 so that the 1st lens group L1 may be started to be withdrawn after withdrawing the 2nd lens group L2 in response to the housing instruction of the optical system, and the 1st lens group L1 may be withdrawn to space left by withdrawing the 2nd lens group L2.
