PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of not only obscuring irregularities on the outer surface of a tire generated by tire components using serrations formed out of a number of ridges, but also providing marks and patterns such as characters using the serrations, and improving a decorative effect of the outer surface of the tire by improving visibility thereof. SOLUTION: A serration area 20 is formed by the arrangement of the ridges 10a, 10b having at least two inclined planes 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b having different angles on the outer surface of the tire. This pneumatic tire is provided with at least one boundary section 30 formed so as to be visible by simultaneously changing angles of at least two inclined planes 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b respectively in a discontinuous manner with the directions of the ridges 10a, 10b kept continuous in the serration area 20.
